In my previous life, I was a PM who was constantly bombarded with requests to build things. - Do I need to purchase all the templates?
- Each template for Rails, iOS, and Android are pre-integrated with each other and sold separately so you can mix and match for what you need. For example, lots of people start with the Rails template and build their first version, then add iOS to start on support and later add Android when they're ready. We made it so you can do those in any order, whatever makes the most sense for you. They're all powered by Hotwire. The mobile apps use Turbo Native so you can break out of the web views in Rails and native views over time to make the mobile apps feel more native as you go.
- What Ruby on Rails version do you support?
- We keep the template up to date. Currently it supports Ruby on Rails 7.1 with Hotwire and is Rails 7 ready.
- What gems are used?
- We use as few gems as possible to provide you a lightweight experience. We’re using Devise, Administrate, and a few others.
- Do you have a sample app I could look at to see what the user experience is?
- You’re using it right now! We built this site to sell Jumpstart Pro, using Jumpstart Pro.
- Can I make changes to code as I see fit?
- Yes, you can. You get the full source code and can change or extend as you need. For example, want to use Rspec for your tests? Just add it!
- Can Jumpstart Pro be integrated into existing applications?
- No, Jumpstart Pro is designed for building new applications.
- Why is it a subscription?

Subscriptions allow us continue to provide updates and maintenance for things like new Rails, iOS, & Android versions, bug fixes, and new features and enhancements.
You can cancel your subscription anytime but you'll no longer have access to the latest improvements. - What license is the product under?

- What kind of support do you offer?
- We offer support via email, for implementation and integration questions.
- What is your update policy?
- Jumpstart Pro apps receive new features, bug fixes, and other maintenance updates regularly. These updates are included as long as you pay for an active subscription.
- What is your return policy?
- Due to the non-returnable nature of digital products once they’re downloaded, we can't offer refunds for Jumpstart Pro. Contact us before purchasing and we'll be happy to answer any questions before you purchase.
- Can I upgrade to the Unlimited license later?
- Of course! You can purchase a Single Use License now and upgrade it anytime later on.
