Datatables or a Stimulus Based Alternative?
My old Rails 6 app has fully implemented Elasticsearch (ES) and Datatables (DT) - I must say it's going to be hard to me to ditch it as I migrate to the JSP and Rails 7 even if it means having JQuery run along side Stimulus etc.
DT is just so powerful when used with ES - I originally only used it on my data intent models then I switch site wide.
It's been a while since I did any research on this - are there any alternatives I should be looking at?

Well played

to get me to renew my GoRails subscription 🤣:

This actually looks way easier than using Datatables. Could still use ES but I may give PG Search a try - ES and the aggregations are a nice feature for making filters etc.
