"Family Membership"

I have a site which charges $60 for a full membership. I want to encourage multiple family members to sign up. The site is for an online sword system of martial arts.

I wonder what the best way is to approach this. I want to encourage multiple family members to join because training works best with a partner. I need to track each person's progress separately, but perhaps do something like $90 for a family membership.

That one membership would cover say upto 3 people having memberships (own separate account signins)

I think this sounds like the perfect use case to treat each membership as an account. The family members can join the account of the paying family member. You can restrict the invitation system based upon which plan they're on.
