Filterrific gem for index filters / search?

Anyone use this gem or know a better alternative?

Looks like it does Rails 6.x now, I was going to use this and ask the same question (as I've used it before)... or would I be better using the default in the interim?

Dan Tappin what did you end up doing can I ask?
