jumpstartrails pro term of use

Taufiq Muhammadi
Hello everyone! I'm looking to start a new project using Jumpstartrails pro for a client. I'm not quite clear on the licensing term. After we build an app by modifying the jumpstartrails app, do we need to keep to continue the yearly subscription for as long as we use the app? or is it only for as long as we wish to receive update? I think jumpstartrails is well worth the subscription but I need to explain the details to my client

Thank you!
Chris Oliver
Hey Taufiq,

1. The license would be owned by your client. You can buy it on their behalf, but since they're going to own the application you build, it's really their license.
2. You'd pay for the license for as long as you'd like to receive updates. This is useful for things like new Rails versions, Hotwire updates, payments improvements, etc.

Chris Oliver Thank you for your clarification, Chris!

Hi Chris,

I had a JUMPSTART Pro subscription (lapsed in Feb 3, 2022).

Is it possible to renew subscription and upgrade to your current JUMPSTART PRO (without starting over)?
