Slug Size exceeds soft limit on Heroku

My Jumpstart app has a large slug size on Heroku which leads to a slow deploy. Any suggestions on how we can limit the slug size?

Do you know what's taking up the space? Have you added large assets to your git repo?

I figured out it is being caused by adding Google Cloud for image storage. I haven't figured out how to solve the issue yet.
