The amount of spam in this forum is diminishing my faith in the product.

Sadly, Recaptcha hasn't stopped bots at all and Akismet doesn't work great either.

If anyone knows of a good spam API, I'm all ears. For now, we'll just lock down the forum to only paying customers.

Hi ☒ I think a quick help would be to add a "Mark as Spam" next to all comments and posts and for each time someone clicks it, the transparency of the post reduces.

Increasing the transparency by say 50% each time it's clicked should do the trick.

Hacker News does it this way.

I think this would go a long way to help the UI until more robust approaches are resolved.

Right now part of my frustration is there is no action I can take when I see the spam and no sense that past people who have seen it can have done anything either.
