Hey Ryan,
If you're using it for a business and the company gets acquired, then the license can be transferred over to the new owner.
If you're consulting, you'll have the client buy the license and you can use their license to develop the app.
Does that answer your question? Let me know any specifics you'd like know more about.

I am not entirely clear about "Unlimited sites" license. Suppose that I am a developer working freelance or running a development consultancy, there are few projects in the pipeline where I would like to use jumpstart, will the "Unlimited sites" grant me the permission to develop and deploy the apps on production for different clients having different code bases?
If you're consulting, your customers should be the one that should own the license. Since you're using Jumpstart for their apps, they should own the license when they're done. You can basically just buy Jumpstart Pro for them and pass through the cost to them.
If you're using it for products that you will own, then it would be fine to use the unlimited license.
