Thank You to Chris (and others if they helped him)
By awesome, I mean that it is a perfectly simple integration for the jumpstart pro template. No bloat, and just enough there to get someone integrated and off to the races with a proper, devise integrated, REST API.
I was waiting for this because I didn't want to 'roll my own' and then updates come and I take a totally different path than the template goes. This is perfect and understandable for almost anyone using rails, and a great addition to letting others get started with a proper API on their applications they are building.
Thanks Again.
Thanks Brandon! I was hoping to keep it as simple as possible so you could customize it as needed, but also make it something you could get started with in a few minutes.
I've got plans to build a Rails generator so you can scaffold an API controller that inherit from the Api::BaseController and generates views and things. That should be pretty nice to have, similar to the customized scaffolds we have already.
