Thought I would ask this group first - Dockerizing a Jumpstart Application, thoughts?

I am far from new to building apps, but definitely a fresh newbie to Docker.

What would be the best route/resources to go about learning how to get a jumpstart app Dockerized?  Docker looks pretty straightforward and easy but knowing that I also have a redis/sidekick server running, as well as the postgres db, etc. I want to make sure I am not going to miss a major step that will cause me to waste hours because of a minor oversight.

I develop on a macbook pro and can host on a mac mini(have a few at the office that are pretty quick and powerful enough for these light business apps) - but more than likely would like to push it to Digital Ocean or Amazon AWS.  I am not sure if any of this makes a difference, but am just throwing it out there in case it does.

Jumpstart Pro already ships with a Dockerfile. 👍

I thought we had a docker-compose.yml as well, but I guess maybe that never got officially added to the repo. Docker Compose would let you setup instances for Postgres and Redis alongside the app. Need to get that added.

Got it.

I'm just pushing it to the production environment like normal right now, but once we get a little better(my companies) I would like to start to push more updates, quicker, and docker looks like the way to go.  I'm still looking into all of the documentation to make sure I am not missing something.

Thanks
