User "name" might need additional validations!

I was getting all kinds of yahoos signing up! Have removed the has_person_name gem since and added my own domain specific validations. Just giving you an FYI for the base build.

I'd recommend keeping has_person_name and just adding validations as necessary. No need to get rid of it.
