[Webpacker] Compilation Failed: (no reason given)

I started the app and everything worked fine, even through the standard dev 0.0.0.0:3000 and then setup from the UI as well (UI from the web was fine and normal).  Once the changes were applied and the app updated and restarted itself, then it refreshed to a version who's CSS is completely messed up.

So, 0.0.0.0:3000/jumpstart looks and functions completely properly, however, 0.0.0.0:3000/announcements which it redirects to, does not render properly.

Any thoughts?

Response:  to anyone using brew for npm, there is a bug when updating.  Use this solution for upgrading and updating your node/npm to work with jumpstart:
